How is the exam structured?

The exam consists of four individual parts:

When will I receive my results?

All exams are assessed by telc in Germany, and you can typically expect to receive your certificate within approximately 4 weeks. However, as the tests are corrected by telc, we cannot guarantee an exact day. We cannot ask telc to do it faster and delayes might happen.

How many lessons do I need for a preparation course?

You will be required to attend a minimum of 5 lessons of 60 minutes each at a cost of CHF 1250. Before we accept your application, we will ask you to take a level test to assess your current level. We will then advise you of the number of lessons you need to take in order to pass your exam. We guarantee that you will pass, but in the unfortunate event that you fail, we will refund your money (only the cost of the preparation course will be refunded).

We only offer private lessons, but if you and your colleagues would like to study together, please contact us. We will be happy to arrange it.

Is the telc exam a recognised official certificate?

Yes, telc certificates are recognised by many employers, medical institutions, schools and universities as proof of language competence.
