The fide test is the Swiss German test recognised by the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM), used for residence permits and citizenship. Good preparation is the difference between guessing and walking in ready. Here is how to prepare in Zürich, and how it works with us.
Start at the right level
The fide test covers A1 to B1. If you are a complete beginner, you take a course first to reach the level you need, and then prepare for the test. This order gives you the best chance of passing. If you are not sure which level you should sit, we check it with a short test before you start.
How preparation works
We are an official fide and telc exam centre in central Zürich, at Löwenstrasse 61, two minutes from the main station, so you can prepare and sit the test in the same place. One-to-one preparation is built around you, from a minimum of five lessons, from CHF 900, and comes with a money-back guarantee. If you prefer a faster, lower-cost option, we also run a group crash course for the fide test, which does not include the guarantee.
A record you can weigh up
We have a 100% pass rate on telc since 2017, and 99.5% on our fide preparation since 2022. We have prepared over 1,300 students in total.
How to register
Register at least 17 days before your chosen test date. Your place is only confirmed once payment has been received, so book early to get the date you want.
